Borealis sconce (E-1) 15-1/2" x 4" aluminum, kiln-shaped glass, neon

The Borealis series of sconces consist of a neon circle sandwiched between a piece of brushed aluminum and a shallow bowl-shaped form made of glass slumped in a kiln. These contemporary wall sconces may be used as lighting fixtures for indoor and outdoor use. The colors may vary considerably depending on the neon or glass chosen. Variations of the Borealis sconces are often made using irregular forms of neon and/or glass, sometimes strategically exposing the neon tube in simple organic forms.
